Aow Leuk Bay boasts a spacious sandy beach ideal for a variety of seaside activities. On both sides of the bay, vibrant coral reefs teem with marine life, making even the shallow waters a lively spectacle. This rich underwater ecosystem attracts many scuba divers and snorkelers, with dive boats frequently hosting beginners on Discover Scuba Diving programs and Open Water Courses.

To get to Aow Leuk Bay, follow the road leading to Tanote Bay, which branches off from the main road in Mae Haad and traverses the island to the east coast. The drive is scenic, but be cautious near the turnoff for the rubbish dump, as it’s a common crossing point for a local herd of goats!

Accessing Aow Leuk Bay requires a 100 THB entrance fee, which includes the rental of a sun lounger and a soft drink. Upon arrival at the parking area, you’ll pay and receive a ticket to present to the staff on the beach.
