What makes this Open Mic different?

PLAY ANY SONG

The hosts musicians can play any song. This means you are not limited to the songs that the musicians already know!

TABLET & STAND

We provide a tablet and tablet stand so you can read lyrics and chords if you need them.

PLAY AN INSTRUMENT

Want to play an instrument? There are limited in-house instruments available (drums, piano, guitar, bass), but you are welcome to bring your own. The host musicians are always happy to take a break and let you take over.

IS IT JUST COVERS?

The musicians are experienced improvisers and welcome you to come and improvise with us. Whether you are a freestyle singer, rapper or instrumentalist, we welcome improvisation as well as covers.

CAN I DO SOMETHING THAT ISN'T MUSIC?

We welcome all performers - musicians, poets, circus arts, story tellers, mime artists - everyone is welcome. We can provide background music to your poetry or performance art.

GREAT SOUND

Our in house sound technician Art Wisit will make sure that things are sounding great all the time. He brings 20+ years' experience working on sound at the top level in Thailand.

FULL BACK LINE

Saturn Pub have an excellent PA and monitoring system so you will be able to hear yourself on stage.

ORGANIZED

We will provide a sign up board so you know when it's your turn to come to the stage.

GREAT THAI FOOD & DRINKS

Saturn Pub has an awesome menu of amazing Thai food and all the usual drinks.

INDOORS

Even if it rains, we can still go ahead as the stage and half the seating is indoors.

ABOUT THE HOSTS

Ursula / Ball / Art / Randy are four experienced open mic hosts who also play in a covers band together compiling over 65+ years of experience as professional musicians. You will recognised Ball, Art and Randy from Rasta Home bands.
